    Music, movement, heat. Seydi dropped to the floor, and the energy was unreal.

    It was a perfect summer day. My friends and I rented an old vintage Benz because it had always been a dream of ours. While grabbing the keys, I paused on the balcony for a second and took a snapshot. The light, the moment, everything just felt right. Later, we cruised around with the windows down and music on, feeling a little like we were in an ‘80s movie.

    Last summer, Tilo and I shot a spring campaign in an old laundromat. It was unbearably hot; we were sweating in our jeans and laughing through the chaos. The idea still worked, though, and this photo always reminds me why it was worth it.

ISO what?

Think of ISO as how sensitive your film is to light:
lower = a cleaner look in bright light
higher = better in low light + more grain

Use any 35 mm Kodak film such as Kodak Gold 200, UltraMax 400 or Portra 800.

When using the flash, try to stay within 1.2 to 3.5 metres for the best results.

Make sure your scene is well lit, either by using flash or available light.

When shooting in the sun, keep the sun behind you.
